Great White Sharks

The Great White Shark is one of the most fascinating animals on our planet.  When people hear  the name Great White Shark,  they immediately become interested.  On average, Great Whites average   from 12-16 feet long (3.7-4.9 m) long, weighing about 5,000 pounds (2,268 kg).  Similar to the size of the shark featured in the film Jaws, the largest Great White on record was 23 feet (7 m) long, weighing about 7,000 pounds (3200 kg).

The largest Great White that was ever caught!

Recently,  Scientists witnessed an enormously-sized Great White off the coast of Australia.  They
estimated it to be equivalent or bigger than the previous shark.
